10 Small Changes for Successful Weight Loss
You don't need to turn your life upside down to succeed at losing weight - just make small changes one at a time and build a healthy lifestyle.
Change the small things and the big things with follow. Weight loss is easier if you change your lifestyle one habit at a time. Here are a few suggestions to start you off:
- Walk for ten (more) minutes every day
- Pull in your tummy muscles every time you have to stop when driving
- Replace a glass of soda (or juice or an alcoholic drink) with mineral water
- Leave something on your plate at each mealtime
- Cook with half the oil you normally would
- Replace your usual fattening snack with an apple
- Have skinny latte or herbal tea instead of regular latte
- Take your kids swimming once a week
- Iron, knit or sew while you watch TV to avoid snacking
- Instead of half filling your plate with fries, try a quarter salad, quarter fries
